The official training camp was a blast
Elite riders from Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Ukraine, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Finland, Slovakia, Latvia, Hungary, Bulgary, Estonia, Germany, and the Czech Republic Gathered in Doksy for the first trial of the Czech terrains.
Traditional MTBO 5 days held every two years provided the base not only for all 155 elite and 59 junior riders but also other 639 riders of all nations and categories.
The program comprised of a middle distance, sprint distance, mass start, long distance, and chase completed with triathlon relay, so no discipline of WMTBOC program was left behind. Riders were well prepared and the winners of this hot competition were Simon Hellmüller from Switzerland and Caecilie Christoffersen from Denmark. Congratulations! Keep up the good work we are looking forward to your performance in August.
Getting to know similar terrains, course settings, and mapping styles before a big event is important and we are glad that so many of you did by joining and enjoying MTBO 5 days. Now the time is ticking. Keep training hard we’ll keep organizing hard and we’ll meet again in a bit!
