Hard work is done, material back in storage or on its way to another events. Sleep deprivation more or less compensated. Legs relaxed. Memories remain. We did some math and here are the last results of 2023 MTBO World Championship:
20th MTBO World Championship in numbers
8 days - 5 races - 20 sets of medals - 98 Rumcajses - 54 women - 88 men - 37 juniors - 58 juniors - 35 other team members - 200 organizers - 32 tents built each day - 14 kilometers of corridor tapes - 1116 starting numbers - 2000 maps (many spares, just in case) - 1500 servings of food - final party for 300 hungry people - ridden a total of approx. 25,000 kilometers on the bike - 30,000 control "beeps"
